Home to the hosts...
Shropshire, nestled in the heart of the West Midlands, is a quintessential slice of English Countryside brimming with history and natural beauty.
Known for its rolling hills, picturesque villages and the stunning Shropshire Hills Area of Natural Beauty, it offers the perfect place to host this year's British Live Fire Cooking Championships.
The County has an impressive heritage, with the medieval town of Shrewsbury being the birthplace of Charles Darwin, to the Ironbridge Gorge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where the world’s first iron bridge was erected over the River Severn in 1779.
The Live Fire Championships are hosted within the stunning Ludlow Castle, the home of Prince Edward from 1473 to 1483. Kadai & Love Logs are bringing live fire cooking back to its roots within a picturesque setting in their home county.
Kadai is a barbecue lifestyle brand, founded out of a love for being outdoors and entertaining on long summer evenings. For centuries the Kadai has been associated with cooking fragrant and delicious curries across Rajasthan, India. Now adapted into a functional barbecue firebowl, the beautiful Kadai bowls are handmade from recycled mild steel by family workshops in India. With over 40 cookware accessories, there are endless cooking opportunities, from grilling, searing, roasting, slow cooking and baking.
