
The Voting Round
The public voting round of the BLFCC 2025 is officially open! After receiving nearly 50 high-quality entries, the Kadai team has selected 15 outstanding dishes that showcase bold flavours and creative techniques.

Now, the decision is yours. We’re handing the power to the live fire community to vote for the cooks who you believe deserve a place in Round Two. Whether you're drawn to the dish, the story behind it, or the sheer creativity on show, your vote helps shape who goes forward to represent the UK on the world stage.
How To Vote

Visit the voting platform here.

Review all 15 entries each including the cook’s name, photo, and description.

Choose three different contestants you’d like to see go through to Round 2.

Submit your votes by 28th May.
To vote, you must agree to sign up for email marketing from Kadai, BLFCC and Ludlow Food Festival.

The Rules

You must vote for three different entries, no duplicate votes.

Only one vote submission per person.

All voters must agree to email sign-up to validate their vote.

Judging Criteria – E.A.T.
​
When casting your vote, keep in mind the BLFCC’s judging framework - E.A.T.:

Execution – The fire cooking technique used to create the dish.

Appearance – How well the dish is presented and plated.

Thought Process – The creativity and originality behind the dish idea.

What Happens Next?
​
Once voting closes on 28th May, we’ll total the votes and reveal the Top 6 competitors heading into Round 2. There, they’ll face a brand-new challenge set by Kadai HQ and take one step closer to competing live at Ludlow Castle and representing the UK at the World Food Championships.
