This year, the final spot in the BLFCC live fire final at Ludlow is in your hands.

We’re inviting the you, the public to choose a contestants to join Adam Lloyd and David Hill in the final showdown on the Kadai Fire Stage at the Ludlow Food Festival and potentially represent the UK on the world stage in America.

Voting closes this Friday, so take the time to review each entry, watch their videos, and consider the E.A.T. judging criteria below before casting your vote.

Remember, your vote could help crown the next champion of British live fire cooking. Choose wisely.

 

How to Vote

 

  1. Head to the voting page on our website.

  2. Take a look at all five remaining entries, each includes the cook’s name, dish title, photo, and story.

  3. Pick your top two contestants. (You must vote for two different people.)

  4. Submit your choices before Friday 27th June to make them count.

The Rules

​

  • You must vote for two different entries, duplicate votes won’t be counted.

  • One vote submission per person, make it count.

  • All voters must agree to join the Kadai and Ludlow Food Festival email list to validate their vote.

  • Voting is open from 23rd June to 27th June — don’t miss your chance to decide who takes the final spot in the BLFCC live fire final.

Judging Criteria

​

Entries will be judged using the E.A.T. criteria:

  • Execution – Live fire technique

  • Appearance – Presentation of the final dish

  • Thought Process – Story, originality, and creative connection

However, at this stage, a new criteria is being introduced:

  • Flair - Each entry should showcase the contestant's passion, confidence, and love for live fire cooking, allowing their enthusiasm to shine through.
